‘The Hold’ at One Big Multicultural Festival

Record Office staff and volunteers enjoyed a fantastic day out promoting ‘The Hold’ at the ‘One Big Multicultural Festival’ on Sunday, September 4th.   The event was organised by our good friends at the Bangladeshi Support Centre (with whom we collaborated on the Curry & Culture Project) and combined music, food and dancing in Ipswich’s Alexandra Park.  Now in its sixth year, the festival gets bigger and better each time, and celebrates the diversity of our county town and beyond.

We talked to over 100 people about our project and encouraged people to sign up to our newsletter to learn more.  We hope we are invited again next year!
