The Suffolk Archives statement on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on its services is available to read here.

Cheers Volunteers!

We choose to work with volunteers because they help us bring our archives to life! From June 2019 to June 2020 volunteers gave over 5000 hours of their time. Whether a group is supporting the archivists in their work to make our archives more accessible, or researching on one of Sharing Suffolk Stories projects with our Community and Learning Officers to installing exhibitions with the Exhibition and Interpretation Officer or turning a hand to conserving our historic documents with our Conservator; all their support is incredibly valuable.

Suffolk Archives want to say thank you to all our volunteers for their enduring support.

But that’s enough from us, here’s what our volunteers had to say about volunteering with Suffolk Archives.

If you would like to get involved, browse our current volunteer opportunities here and sign up to the website. There are opportunities available throughout Suffolk.
