Suffolk’s Victoria Cross recipients

The Suffolk Record Office holds information on recipients of the Victoria Cross, as well as many resources from World War One.

The Victoria Cross (VC) is the highest military decoration and is awarded for “valour in the face of an enemy”. It was introduced on 29 January 1856 by Queen Victoria.
