These exciting events are designed for children ages 5-11. Event themes and activities are based on current exhibitions, seasons and national holidays.
Supporting events tailored for our current exhibitions including Exhibition Previews and Guided Tours.
These evening events are for participants 18 years old and over and allow visitors to experience archives in a completely new light. Each themed event’s activities change every month and event details are regularly updated.
These events are a chance for you to learn from subject experts on a variety of topics. Event themes will link with current exhibitions as well as special topics, including the 'Treasures from the Archives' series.
How To Events
Learn how to do a range of activities at these interactive events and are an ideal activity for groups as well as an opportunity for people to make new friends.
Online Lecture Series
This lecture series of focuses on a specific subject over 8 events and can be enjoyed either as individual events or as a whole series. In person event and online options are both available for all events.
Enjoy a range of films from the latest blockbusters to family favourites in The Hold’s 200 seat auditorium.
Each event is unique and created especially for the occasion. Be prepared for a variety of event topics and styles and book early to avoid disappointment.
