How to Write Historical Fiction

This half day course is run by Dr. Amanda Hodgkinson, award winning author and course leader for the MA Creative and Critical Writing at the University of Suffolk. Look at ways of researching past events, and understand how to bring them to life in your writing in authentic ways. Examine the relationship between history, memory and the imagination. Discover the craft of writing, including point of view, writing descriptive passages, and plot and character development.
