Suffolk At War, Lecture Two-The Suffolk Regiment during the World Wars
This lecture considers the experience of men of the Suffolk Regiment during the First and Second World Wars and how and why the character of warfare changed for the regiment and individuals within it from 1914 to 1945. We will also examine how the state and military generated the manpower it required for the world wars and how the size, shape and character of the Suffolk Regiment changed as a result.
