Location: Online
Date: Wednesday 14th July
Times: 7.00pm-8.30pm
Price: Free

Join us for this online event to discover the stories of Women’s Land Army in Suffolk.

Our Soil Sisters project has been researching the history of the Women’s Land Army in Suffolk, discovering the vital work these women did to keep the country fed, the dangers they faced, and how their service during and after the War shaped their lives.

The evening will include a talk from WLA expert Nicky Reynolds, project volunteers sharing favourite stories from their research, and the launch of an online interactive map and display which will be a lasting legacy for the project.

Soil Sisters is part of our Sharing Suffolk Stories programme, which is supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
