Ipswich: Westside Story

Location: Start at The Hold

Price: £4 per person (children under 12 are free – limited spaces)

A Walk to the end of the Waterfront and to the Western part of the town, where we will see Cardinal Wolsey’s Gateway and his College Chapel. Hear about the visit of Henry VIII to our town and view some fine modern sculpture.

This walk will be delivered by the Ipswich Tourist Guides Association.

Information about Walks: 

Starting Location: All walks will start at The Hold.
Times: All walks will start at 2.15pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration. The duration of all walks is approximately 90 minutes, unless otherwise arranged.
Accessibility: All walks are designed for step free access. Assistance dogs are welcome. Other dogs cannot be accommodated.
Health and Safety: The pace of the walk will be adjusted for the comfort of all and the walk will commence with a short health and safety briefing.
Ticketing: The group size is limited to 20 paid customers. Children under the age of 12 are free. Up to 5 complementary tickets per walk are available, at the discretion of ITGA or , and can include children under the age of 12.
