Ipswich: The Waterfront at War

The River Port has always played a significant role in times of conflict, defending Ipswich from Viking raids, building warships over hundreds of years and making a huge contribution during both World Wars.
This walk will be delivered by the Ipswich Tourist Guides Association.
Information about Walks:
Starting Location: All walks will start at The Hold.
Times: All walks will start at 2.15pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early for registration. The duration of all walks is approximately 90 minutes, unless otherwise arranged.
Accessibility: All walks are designed for step free access. Assistance dogs are welcome. Other dogs cannot be accommodated.
Health and Safety: The pace of the walk will be adjusted for the comfort of all and the walk will commence with a short health and safety briefing.
Ticketing: The group size is limited to 20 paid customers. Children under the age of 12 are free. Up to 5 complementary tickets per walk are available, at the discretion of ITGA or , and can include children under the age of 12.
All walks are strictly no smoking.
